Zagreb
is an old Central European city, capital of the Republic of Croatia.
Located on the intersection of several important routes between
the Adriatic coast and Central Europe.
Zagreb
is a big business centre, city of culture and art, city for young
people with many schools and universitys (one of the oldest in
Europe - founded in 1632), and lot of entertainment.
Zagreb
offers its guests the Baroque feel of the Upper Town, it consists
of Kaptol - - historical city centre of the Chatolic Church and
Gradec - with the Parliament, governmental centre of the Republic
of Croatia.
The
first written mention of Zagreb derives from 1094, when a see
was established on Kaptol, while neighbouring Gradec was proclaimed
a free and royal city in 1242. Lower Town is the business heart
of Zagreb. It is town of green parks and promenades, open-air
